There is a common application problem with LEDs used in lighting-heat dissipation. The current LEDs have only 20% to 30% photoelectric conversion efficiency, and the rest of the energy is converted into heat. If the heat in the LED chip of the lamp cannot be dissipated effectively, the PN junction temperature of the LED chip will be too high, resulting in a decrease in luminous efficiency, a red shift of the chip emission spectrum, a decrease in color temperature quality, a decrease in phosphor conversion efficiency, and a decrease in working life. It can even make the LED permanent failure. The current LED lamp heat dissipation scheme is divided into passive heat dissipation and active heat dissipation. Passive heat dissipation schemes such as natural heat dissipation, heat pipe technology, uniform temperature plate technology, loop heat pipe technology; active heat dissipation such as air cooling, microchannel heat sink heat dissipation, and semiconductor cooling Heat dissipation [4] and so on. These heat dissipation schemes have relatively large structures and can be used as effective methods for road lighting such as LED street lights, LED tunnel lights and other large lamps. However, LED downlights are affected by their size, appearance requirements, and working environment restrictions, and more Natural heat dissipation is still used.

LED downlight uses LED as the light source, and its structure is improved on the basis of the traditional downlight structure. LED down lamps have the characteristics of traditional down lighting, and at the same time have all the advantages of LEDs: energy saving, low carbon, long life, good color rendering, fast response speed, etc. The design of the LED down light is more beautiful and lighter. It can maintain the overall unity and perfection of the architectural decoration during installation, without destroying the setting of the lamp, the led light source is hidden inside the architectural decoration, and the light led source is not exposed. Downlights LED usually use COB, array high-power LEDs (above 1W), arrays of small and medium-power LEDs (0.5W and below) and other light sources. Among them, the array of small and medium-power LED light sources has the best optical effect, and the human visual effect is soft, Even, most of the lamp downlights currently use this light source form.

Using finite element CFD simulation software, it can comprehensively analyze the heat conduction, heat convection and heat radiation of LED lamps, analyze and solve the temperature field and flow field inside and outside the LED lamps, which is suitable for the current LED lighting lamps heat dissipation simulation simulation.
